Childcare at Disney!!

When you vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort, you are surely going to be planning your vacation around your children. But, any good vacation also needs to include some downtime for you, the parents. How does you make this happen while also ensuring that your kids are in a safe and fun environment? Disney has plenty of options for childcare for you, especially if you are at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.

The No. 1 childcare option for parents is a company called Kid's Nite Out. Kid's Nite Out is a company that sends caregivers out to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel room to watch and entertain your little ones while you are away. Or, they can also just be on hand to assist parents if you need an extra hand while on vacation. These caregivers are certified in child/infant CPR and basic first aid and rates are based per hour upon the number of children they are watching. Reservations are required for this service at least 24 hours in advance by calling (407) 828-0920 or (800) 696-8105.

There are also seven resorts across property that offer babysitting services for children who are staying at Walt Disney World. Camp Dolphin is available at the Swan and Dolphin hotel from 6 p.m.-11 p.m., while Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Polynesian Resort, Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resort and Disney's Wilderness Lodge all have children's clubs that are open from 4 or 4:30 p.m. until midnight every night of the week. Parents can simply drop their kids off at these clubs and pay a fee per hour that they are there. Reservations are required for these clubs, so be sure to check with the front desk when you get to your resort or call (407) WDW-DINE in advance. Don't worry about your kids while they are there, however. They will be entertained non-stop with activities, arts and crafts, movies and games. In fact, they may not want to leave when you come to pick them back up!

Childcare is just another way that the Walt Disney World Resort goes above and beyond when it comes to brining the magic of Disney to their guests. To experience all of this firsthand, be sure to start planning your next vacation to Walt Disney World today! You can start by purchasing your discounted Walt Disney World theme park tickets here at DWTickets.com, your No. 1 source for discounted tickets to all of your favorite Central Florida attractions!

Spaceship Earth Updates on the Way

The icon of Epcot is getting a makeover just in time for the park's 25-year anniversary. A few weeks ago, we told you that this futuristic theme park at Walt Disney World was turning 25. And no matter how old you are, DWTickets.com is your best source for cheap tickets to come on down and celebrate this quarter-century milestone.

Spaceship Earth has always been the focal point for the second Walt Disney World Theme Park and is a huge favorite for many of the park's guests. What Epcot visitor doesn't have a vacation photo in front of the big golf ball? One complaint of late, however, was that the ride had become outdated, perhaps even boring. Not wanting to be left behind - it is supposed to be a futuristic journey after all - Disney recently announced that their imagineers will soon present EPCOT guests with a "re-imagined" Spaceship Earth.

The premise of the ride has always been an historical travel through time. It takes you on a visual journey through the history of the world, from the beginning of time to the farthest edges of the future. The rehab will enhance each guest's trip with new scenes, light effects, refreshed costumes and sets, and brand new narrative and music. The "time machines" that transport guests throughout their adventure will be equipped with touch screens that allow riders to join in and create their own vision for the future.

The new Spaceship Earth has been made possible by a partnership between Disney and Siemens, a 150-year-old company specializing in electronics and electrical engineering. Both companies say the partnership is a great match because they are "committed to innovation." And that is what Epcot is all about! The Siemens' presence will also be displayed at the exit of Spaceship Earth with "Project Tomorrow: Inventing the World of Tomorrow." an exhibit where guests can play and learn even more after they disembark from their journey through the past and future.

For those of you planning your vacation now, the new and improved Spaceship Earth Pavilion is expected to be fully open at EPCOT in Spring of 2008, but the new ride should be up and running in the next few weeks. DWTickets.com has the best deals on discount Walt Disney World admission packages, so order up now and be ready to experience the newest EPCOT attraction with it reopens next year!

ABC Super Soap Weekend

Many of the special events at the Walt Disney World Resort require a special ticket for admission, but there are some, like the ABC Super Soap Weekend, that are included with the price of admission to the park. The ABC Super Soap Weekend takes place every year at the Disney-MGM Studios, and daytime fans from all over the country flock to Walt Disney World for a chance to see their favorite television stars up close and in person. And of course, the best way to see these stars is with tickets from DWTickets, the No. 1 place online for all of your discounted tickets to Central Florida's top attractions. DWTickets.com offers tickets to not only the Disney-MGM Studios, but to all four Walt Disney World theme parks, water parks, and also to Universal Orlando and Sea World Orlando as well. Be sure to check out our great prices for all of your vacation needs!

ABC Super Soap Weekend is set to take place November 10-11, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Disney-MGM Studios, and stars from the ABC soaps "All My Children," "One Life To Live" and "General Hospital" will be in attendance. Not only can fans get access to autograph sessions with stars like Susan Lucci, they can also experience celebrity motorcades, sit in on Star Conversations and join in on SOAPnet's "I Wanna Be A Soap Star" competition. This contest pits contestants from the crowd against each other, and the winner gets to perform on-stage with one of the leading men from an ABC soap. A schedule of events can be picked up on your way into the Disney-MGM Studios, and due to the large crowds, admittance is generally granted about 30 minutes before the park officially opens for fans to take their spots along Hollywood Boulevard.

Stars that are confirmed for the ABC Super Soap Weekend this year are:

From All My Children: Susan Lucci (Erica), Bobbie Eakes (Krystal), Melissa Claire Egan (Annie), Thorsten Kaye (Zach), Michael E. Knight (Tad), Cameron Mathison (Ryan), Alicia Minshew (Kendall), Aiden Turner (Aidan), Jacob Young (JR) and David Canary (Adam)

From One Life to Live: Kristen Alderson (Starr), Brandon Buddy (Cole), Kathy Brier (Marcie), Bree Williamson (Jessica), Kamar de los Reyes (Antonio), Forbes March (Nash), Erika Slezak (Viki), Kassie DePaiva (Blair), Trevor St. John (Todd), Michael Easton (John), John Paul Lavoisier (Rex) and Tika Sumpter (Layla)

From General Hospital: Julie Berman (Lulu), Josh Duhon (Logan), Bradford Anderson (Spinelli), Tyler Christopher (Nikolas), Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth), Kimberly McCullough (Robin), Kelly Monaco (Sam), Jason Thompson (Patrick), Laura Wright (Carly) and Sonya Eddy (Epiphany)

From General Hospital: Night Shift: Nazanin Boniadi (Leyla), Dominic Rains (Leo) and Kent King (Lainey)

To meet these stars, fans will need to get "On Location Fastpasses" to attend the autograph sessions. These are given out at 8:00 a.m. and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. A limited number of these Fastpasses are given out for each autograph session, along with a certain number of "stand-by" tickets, which do not guarantee an autograph but will allow admittance based on the celebrity's schedule.

To have this exclusive opportunity to meet your favorite soap stars, hit up DWTickets.com to get your discounted Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets now!

Segway through WDW!

There are many different ways to see and experience the Walt Disney World Resort. But, no matter how you plan to see the theme parks at Disney, you can see them for less when you buy your tickets here at DWTickets.com. Here at DW Tickets, we offer unbelievable deals on tickets to the Walt Disney World theme parks and other area attractions. Before you head out to the parks, head over to check out these unbeatable prices for yourself!

One of the most unique ways to experience the Walt Disney World Resort is through a personal tour. Through these countless tours, you can see behind the scenes of the parks and even learn all of the top-notch secrets behind your favorite attractions. But one of the many tours that you are probably not aware are the different segway tours that Walt Disney World offers. And in case you are not sure of what a segway is, this is a futuristic motorized vehicle that you stand on that takes you from place to place (much like a motorized scooter that you stand on, only this is an upright vehicle). The Walt Disney World Resort has been using segways for years with their management team, and now these tours are offered to let guests have some fun as well!

Segway tours are now offered at the Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds and at Epcot. The Fort Wilderness tour is a new one, and it allows guests to experience the wilderness along the trails of the Fort Wilderness Resort. These tours take place several times throughout the day and begin at 8:30 a.m. It is important to note however that several bus changes may be required if you are a guest at a Disney hotel, so be sure to plan ahead and give yourself plenty of time to make your tour (if you are late, you will be unable to attend). Also of note for all of these segway tours - helmets are mandatory for everyone (they are provided) and there is also a 250 lb. weight limit for each segway.

The segway tour at Epcot is a popular one and allows guests to experience this theme park in a whole new way. On this tour, you will visit all of the countries in the World Showcase before this section of the park opens to the public and see other parts of this futuristic theme park. Or, if you simply want to learn how to operate one of these machines, Epcot also offers one-hour instructional classroom experiences for those not yet ready to brave the outdoors in these vehicles.

Whether you are riding through the parks on a segway or seeing them like everyone else, be sure to get your tickets to all of the Walt Disney World theme parks right here at DWTickets.com!

There's nothing quite like a fine meal and an excellent wine to go with it. At the various tasting stations throughout the park, guests can choose what they would like to taste, but the "Food & Wine Pairings" takes the guess work out of it. These regionally themed tastings are hosted by a select winemaker and introduce tasters to three specially chosen wines and food portions coupled just for this occasion.

At Le Cellier Steakhouse in the Canada Pavilion, Northwestern flavors are shared every Friday. On Saturdays, head across the Atlantic to the Bistro de Paris in the France Pavilion, where a selection of "charcuterie" and cheese are featured. Stay overseas in the Italy Pavilion for a sampling from the newly reopened Tutto Italia, delivered every Sunday. If Italian isn't your thing, Sunday, October 21 features a special coupling of Scotch and food at the Rose & Crown Dining Room in the United Kingdom Pavilion. Monday's are the special day at the Japan Pavilion, where sake, sushi and sashimi are teamed at the Teppan Edo Matsunoma Lounge. Tuesdays take us to the Restaurant Marrakesh in the Morocco Pavilion and the delights of the Mediterranean. If seafood is what you love, then treat yourself to the delicious dining at the Coral Reef Restaurant or the Seas Salon, both located in The Seas with Nemo & Friends, where special pairings are featured on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

These special tasting events all require park admission and also have an additional cost per person. But you don't have to worry about the extra money if you buy your tickets at the best discount ticket site around - DWTickets.com, where you will find tasty treats for your wallet before you enjoy the tasty treats for your pallet.

Shamu's Happy Harbor

Vacations and kids just go together. Vacations and money do too. So, the first step on your Orlando vacation must be to buy all of your discount theme park tickets at your one and only source for the cheapest tickets in town, DWTickets.com. The second step should be to prepare your kids (and you too!) to have the time of their life, and make sure you include a visit to SeaWorld and set aside plenty of time to play in Shamu's Happy Harbor.

This port of pleasure is no fast food play land. Unless if the play land you're talking about has been on steroids for the past ten years. The new and much more exciting Shamu's Happy Harbor has been recently updated and six new kiddie rides have been added. Now it's more than a pumped up playground. It's practically a theme park in itself!

One of the centerpiece rides that every kid is sure to love is the "Sea Carousel," where riders have their choice of 65 sea creatures to perch atop and float around on giant fish, sea lions, otters, sharks and precious dolphins. For a walk on the wild (but not too wild) side, the "Shamu Express" takes its passengers on a killer whale ride at speeds up to 28 mph. Now that's what I call family friendly fun! There is also a kid-sized jelly fish tower ride called "Jazzy Jellies" and a tug boat adventure, the "Ocean Commotion." If spinning in a tea cup is your cup of tea, then the "Swishy Fishies" will keep you pleased as punch, while the "Flying Fiddler" will turn that round and round into an up and down; up 20 feet and than down you go.

Once the kids have blissfully ridden to excess, they can still climb, jump and play on Shamu's Happy Harbor's awesome collection of nets, tunnels and slides. (The grown ups fit on these too!) There are up to four stories of nets connected by a series of tunnels all high in the air. Go ahead, give it a try. You'll feel like a kid again. Adults can ride and play with the kids throughout Shamu's Happy Harbor, so they don't have to miss out on all the fun, but keep in mind that there are minimum height requirements on some of the rides.

DWTickets.com is the best place to get all of your discount tickets for your Orlando vacation, so click it and ticket it right here and right now!
