February Dates To Remember

February is almost upon us and your favorite Orlando ticket source wants to make sure you are ready for whatever may come. First item on your list: check out, your one-stop-shop for cheap theme park tickets. And if you will be in Orlando next month, here are the events you need to have on your calendar:

  • Valentine’s Day is Feb. 14. Don’t get stuck in the dog house. Give that special someone an unforgettable gift – tickets to their favorite theme park (from of course).
  • The Universal Orlando Resort kicks of their annual Mardi Gras party on Feb. 2. Visit Universal Studios on Saturdays through April 19 for smoking concerts, authentic N’Awlins food, and a bead-throwing, costume-wearing Mardi Gras parade.
  • Celebrate Fat Tuesday on Feb. 5 at Pat O’Briens in CityWalk and enjoy live music with their famous dueling pianos and specials on their renowned drink, the Hurricane.
  • The Space shuttle Atlantis is scheduled to lift off from Kennedy Space Center on Feb. 7.
  • Get in the groove, mon, for Bob Marley’s Birthday Jam on Feb. 9 at Bob Marley – A Tribute to Freedom at Universal Orlando Resort’s CityWalk.
  • Atlanta Braves spring training starts Feb. 14 at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex.
  • Eat, drink and enjoy some great live music at Bud & BBQ at Sea World Orlando and Busch Gardens Africa in Tampa Bay. SeaWorld hosts Trisha Yearwood on Feb. 16 and Credence Clearwater Revisited on Feb. 23. Busch Gardens is showcasing Sara Evans on Feb. 17 and Styx on Feb. 24.
  • Busch Gardens Africa is also hosting a few other great acts. Irish Thunder will be stepping their hearts out in shows all month. The Big Band Concert Series continues with the Glen Miller Orchestra performing through Feb. 3 and the Artie Shaw Orchestra on stage Feb. 7-10.
  • Terrific Tuesdays, sponsored by AARP, continue at both Anheuser-Busch Adventure Parks with behind-the-scenes presentations featuring SeaWorld Culinary Delights at the Seafire Inn on Feb. 12, and Busch Gardens Desserts on Feb. 19 at the Desert Grill.
