Visit Orlando launches new, easier to navigate website

In an effort to benefit from projected increases in travel for 2011, Visit Orlando launched their new website today. Now, they claim, it will be easier than ever for potential and repeat visitors to Orlando to investigate the area, plan trips and even book travel (through a partnership with Travelocity.com). Enhanced features for the site include:

  • a Trip Ideas Generator that offers ideas and suggestions based on answering a few simple questions about your trip and the size and ages of your party
  • a Trip Itinerary Builder that offers information and searching for accommodations, places to go, things to do, and places to eat, plus the ability to share and save potential itineraries
  • expanded Global Reach, including offering the website in Chinese, Japanese, Italian, French, German, and Spanish

The site can also be accessed via a special mobile site, making it easy for mobile smartphone users to plan on the go.
